At the conclusion of the performing year, judges will meet to review their gradings of productions, completed through the year. Nominated groups and individuals will be informed before the ceremony, and the Awards will be presented in a “Tony Award”-style event at the Gold Coast Arts Centre, where all participating groups and individuals are invited to attend. Dress will be as formal as individuals wish! - and the evening will feature not only the presentation of awards to winners in each category, but several musical (or other) items from productions attended by judges during the year. Presenters will be drawn from the showbiz community on the Gold Coast, and each winner will be invited to respond to the presentation of the award.
